The movie Into Temptation is shooting this week in Minneapolis. Jon worked the set a couple of days. Great cast, director, production design, and production crew. We wish them the best of luck.

The Vicious Alive

Stationary Show

Alyssa spent a couple days in NYC this past month trend shopping and touring the stationary show. Here is a shot of some lovely cups from the Pearl River Mart. You can read more about it on her blog.

Learning the business of film

Jon just finished up the "Making Your Own Dynamite: Producing Independent Film" workshop -
taught by the two nicest and smartest guys in the industry, Sean C. Covel and Chris Wyatt, producers of the international hit Napoleon Dynamite.

Jon immersed himself in the detailed process of creating an independent film and preparing it for international distribution. He learned the process of acquiring rights, developing screenplays; how-to secure investors, budget/schedule projects; as well as the producer's role throughout the production processes.

SC Creates Penguin & Fish

Studio Collective has recently initiated Penguin & Fish a product line and retail website. The project is spear headed by Alyssa Thomas and she regulary blogs about it's happenings.
